"The deep gratitude I feel for Roberto can’t be overstated. In fact, without Roberto I can’t imagine where my physical health would have ultimately ended up without his help.
I used to be an athlete, heavily involved in martial arts, regular exercise, and outdoor activities. On the surface, I appeared healthy and lived my life fairly well. However, I had a persistent problem with grinding my teeth, poor posture, and constant muscle tension. As I aged I retired from competition and became focused on my career. I didn’t realize I was actually a deeply unhealthy person.
I often found myself tired, unfocused, and short of breath, but I didn’t think much of it. I thought it was because I had stopped working out as regularly. But there was a much deeper cause and it started to create all kinds of problems in me. My posture grew worse. My jaw tension became more painful. My muscles were always extremely tight.
One day, my wife suggested I see a dentist. I was grinding my teeth so hard at night that I would routinely wake her up. So, I took the advice of my wife and went to a dentist. They gave me a night guard that was supposed to stop my teeth clenching and grinding. I began to sleep better and everything seemed to be fine until about six months later when I discovered that I was grinding my teeth again. Worse, I realized that the night guard had actually changed the alignment of my teeth!
I returned to the dentist for help. He told me he’d never heard of this happening to anyone else. He told me that he would investigate and tell me what he found. Yet, when I returned to him he had no new information for me. None of his colleagues knew what was going on. He told me that the only way to fix what was happening was if I got corrective braces. I went to several orthodontists. The braces would have cost at least $18,000. My insurance wouldn’t cover it. And, the process would take 18 to 24 months to complete.
I became even more frustrated. I ignored the problem. Actually, I tried to ignore the problem, but now, with the alignment of my teeth permanently changed, I was forced to deal with the issue. See, what had always caused me mild discomfort became something so painful that I was forced to seek help. I started to go to my chiropractor regularly where I received relief, but my jaw always went back to being inflamed again and again. I realized that he couldn’t permanently help me either. But my chiropractor kept saying something I couldn’t really hear at first. “You’re under a lot of stress,” he told me. But I replied, “I don’t feel stressed. I don’t have anything bad happening in my life. What would make me feel stressed?”
He referred me to Respiras Breathing and Roberto, and at last I learned what he meant. Roberto found out through a breathing analysis, that I was chronically hyperventilating. I never realized! I was stuck in a pattern of hyperventilation which had placed my body under an extreme amount of physical stress.
I began treatment with Roberto and the results were miraculous. Roberto helped me correct my breathing patterns. My heart rate normalized. My CO2 levels dramatically improved. Within months I saw a dramatic transformation. The clenching stopped. My posture and breathing shifted from shallow chest patterns to functional ones. Then, my whole body began to relax, not just my jaw. And beyond that my energy levels and mental alertness also dramatically improved. At 35 I feel like I am 25 again. I’ve become more resilient to illness and much stronger. All thanks to Roberto and his revolutionary treatment which fixed such a fundamental issue, my ability to breathe.
It was something no one else, except my chiropractor who referred me to Respiras, considered. I would have spent tens of thousands of dollars pursuing one treatment after another without ever touching the root cause of all my issues. Thank you Roberto! And my deepest gratitude to Dr. Mike Valier for showing compassion and care for his patients. If you are considering treatment with Respiras don’t hesitate. It’s an intense program, but for those who do the work it’s absolutely worth every penny.

OBJECTIVE REPORT
BEFORE: Desynchronized Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia
AFTER: Homeostatic synchronization of respiratory cycles and cardiac autonomic regulation.
QUALITY OF VENTILATION
BEFORE: Low CO2 (hypocapnia)
AFTER: ETCO2 within normal limits (eucapnia)
REINSTATING PARASYMPATHETIC TONE
Wear and tear in the autonomic nervous system.
Cumulative stress: Literature supports physical exercise is a type of allostatic load for several endocrine systems, notably the HPA axis. The sustained overtraining syndrome theory postulates that physical training can produce muscle and skeletal trauma, and it can generate a systemic inflammation response.

High HRV: Literature supports a high Heart Rate Variability is a sign of good adaptation, featuring a healthy individual with efficient autonomic mechanism (Santana et al, 2013). Santana, C. Association of oral variables and heart rate variability. International Archives of Medicine, 2013, 6:49.
